FACIAL IMPLANTS
Including Chin, Cheeks, Mid Face, and Tear Trough Implants
Facial Implants such as cheek implants or chin implants permanently enhance features with poor definition or inadequate projection. Hollowness in the region under the eye causing a tired or sunken appearance can be corrected with Tear Trough Implants designed by Dr. Hoenig, specifically for this purpose.
Age:
Anywhere from the 20s to 70s, and beyond.
Surgical Technique:
An incision is made through the mouth or lower eyelid and a pocket is created adjacent to the bone for placement of the implant. The implant is then positioned and the pocket is sutured closed.
“I believe it’s rare to find a surgeon who has an impeccable reputation, top notch skill and expertise, integrity, AND an amazing bedside manner. Dr. Hoenig has all of the above! If you’re considering any sort of facial rejuvenation, I highly recommend consulting with him. When it comes to your face, it’s worth it to go to the best of the best.”
Surgical Time and Recovery:
Facial Implant surgery is performed on an outpatient basis with local anesthesia and oral or IV sedation and usually takes about an hour. Stitches are either removed in 3 to 5 days, or are dissolvable. Bruising is minimal and most swelling subsides after 1 to 2 weeks, however residual swelling can last for several months.
Related Procedures:
Cheek implant, chin implant, or tear trough implant surgery can be combined with blepharoplasty, browlift, facelift, midface lift, necklift, fat transfer, and chemical peels or laser skin resurfacing.
